Lord, once again it is time for the changing of the seasons

The old is past and we begin to see some newness ahead of us

Please make this year a good year, a year to honour You.

May we abide in Your vineyard in this new year.

Send Your peace and rest

Give us each day our daily bread

Let your will be done

In Jesus' name

Amen

It's in His hands

"I don't know what the future holds, but I do know Who holds it!" Do you believe this? Listen again: I don't know what the future holds, but I do know Who holds it! Well, do you believe this? If you do, you should start living differently, today. Why? Because tomorrow's uncertainties cannot and will not happen, as if they are removed from God. When tomorrow dawns, He will be there. He will be present, as He has been, every day from eternity. God will truly be on time for tomorrow. Even if unexpected problems arise, or crises such as illness or crime occur, God will not be absent. He will also not be too busy with other urgent matters. Not a single moment of your life happens without Him noticing. It didn't happen yesterday that He does not notice, it will not happen today and it also will not happen in the future. God holds you, and He also holds the seasons, years and events in your life in His hands. Believe this and live with a lighter heart. Believe this and live today, joyfully in God's love.

Prayer Lives!

Prayer is a way of life. It is regular, from-the-heart communication with God. That is why Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 5:17: "Pray without ceasing." But remember to shoulder other persons problems, when you stand before God. Make time to place the names of the people around you, before Him. You can even pray for those whom you do not know. Instead of staring into space when you have stopped at an intersection, pray a sentence for the person in the vehicle next to yours. Or pray for the people sitting next to you in the bus. Maybe you are the only person who will ever pray for them. Who knows, your one-sentence-prayer could just be the missing link to open doors (in heaven or on earth) for them. Pray regularly, until the heavens above open for the persons for whom you are praying.
Most importantly, remember: Pray in the Name of Jesus Christ (John 16:24). Then mercy rains down!

ICE

Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory,
for ever and ever.

Amen.

Grow Yourself......

Don't be afraid to admit when you know you are wrong. It is not a sign of weakness, but shows character and responsibility. Others will respect you for that.

Always do the right things, even when everyone does as they please with no consideration for the feelings of others.

Never compromise your values and beliefs, even if it means risking ridicule and rejection. Be true to yourself. Live your own life and don't allow others to decide what is best for you If you do, you will be unhappy because you're untrue to yourself.

Refuse to run away from the things that scare you. Confront these situations and overcome your fears so that you may grow as a person.

Don't compare yourself to others. You are unique special being and therefore you should express your individuality.

Happiness keeps you Sweet, Trials keep you Strong, Sorrow keeps you Human , Failure Keeps you Humble, Success keeps you Glowing, But only BELIEVE Keeps you Going......
